BLEISTIFTS
The story behind the name
Studio Bleistifts (German for "Pencil's") refers to my grandfather name - David Pienaker-Bleistift. Despite never getting to know him, I am deeply inspired by his work as an architect and moved by his tangled life trajectory.
In 2018-1029 I was working on a biographical project, following his story, which was very little known until then. This research-based project have comulated to be an extensive art project titled "a Line, a Circle", exhibited in multiple venues and a book.
